We are always looking for ways to raise funds for the Club
Please donate to help us
SSCD train helpers and Skiers to become Guides to assist skiers with different disabilities; it does not preclude those with disabilities from becoming Guides, it provides and develops specialist skiing aids and equipment, offers ski guiding and practice sessions on artificial slopes as well as organising snow holidays for groups. All of this requires a commitment of time and money. SSCD is an entirely voluntary organisation, run by people who want to be involved in sharing the joys of skiing with those who need a helping hand.
if you cannot join us during our skiing sessions, feel free to share what we do with your friends and family
We do not receive any major grants, and rely solely on funds raised by our members, therefore we are grateful for any donation you can make. Understandably, training programmes, new equipment, artificial slope activities and holiday expenses all add up, and meeting these costs is a never-ending challenge.
Whatever you can give will be both useful and very much appreciated; particularly by those disabled skiers who might otherwise be precluded from sharing the same unfettered exhilaration from skiing that most of us take for granted.
